The Principal Marketing Manager for the Surface Transportation and Critical Infrastructure business unit will:
Directs the development of company market requirements for highly technical and complex products, systems and solutions in rail industry. This includes the development of product, systems and solution based strategies, requirements analysis, and "Real, win, worth" analysis. Leads the development and execution of Marketing Plans and product / system / solution positioning in the marketplace. Supports business plan development and execution. Reduces broad concepts and strategic initiatives into Marketing Plans, additionally identifies strategic inflection points in the market place for core and non-traditional business initiatives. In conjunction with Corporate Marketing and Communications group, leads the development and execution of the annual communications plan including budgets, branding, advertising, trade shows, collateral, web strategies and content equity for rail industry. Provides technical assistance and marketing support to the sales organization in Pursuit Order Capture activities. Required to strategically shape both product and system level business positions for the business unit. Able to discuss high level business principles and topics with rail industry clients.
The ideal candidate should have:
-Proven Track record of market and competitive analysis for rail industry.
-In depth knowledge of a broad set of products and services as well as clients' issues and needs in rail transit industry.
-Proven track record of developing and cultivating high demand with customers through effective campaign for offerings awareness, and value proposition.
-Experience strategically shaping both product and system level business positions in rail industry.
-Experience creating five year marketing plan in rail industry with focus on strategic timeline with high payoff business opportunities.
Bachelor's or higher degree required. MBA degree highly desirable. Minimum ten year experience in rail transit industry marketing.
