Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and improves RF Communication System Architectures then helps the team implement the architecture

  • Writes, validates and verifies requirements for new developments efforts

  • Leads and/or contributes to small to medium development efforts

  • Supports current RF installations domestically and internationally, either remotely or on-site

  • Tests and debugs communications equipment including but not limited to Antennas, Radios, Control Circuitry, and Voice Switches

  • Follows Rockwell Collins ethics and business standards

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as RF Engineer, preferably in a communications field

  • Strong hands-on operation, test of RF equipment experience

  • Working knowledge of communications links budgets, theory and effects of noise, modulation techniques, and radio architecture

  • Ability to travel (<25%) domestic and internationally,

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; identified skills and experience

Desired Experience:

  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Knowledge of current data networking topologies, equipment, protocols
