The candidate will lead principle and senior mechanical, optical, and electrical engineers in the design, analysis, and testing of complex opto-mechanical systems and wearable digital display systems. The candidate will be the customer's and LCVSM's technical point of contact for one or more projects of medium to high complexity. The candidate will work with the program manager to develop the program execution plan, and will ensure projects remain within budget, on schedule, and meet all customer and derived requirements. The candidate must have demonstrated application of integrated project management, technical consistent process, earned value, and risk management for one or more programs in either an optical or digital display domain. The candidate will lead proposal efforts in both the optics and digital display domains, coordinating inputs from various project engineers, generating project bids and technical volumes in support of the overall proposal effort. The candidate will track, report, and analyze earned value metrics as required to understand program performance, and will determine appropriate actions to correct real problems before impacting overall program performance. The candidate will report program performance to program management, leadership, and the customer as warranted.

Must Have Requirements:
US Citizen or permanent resident
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline
Knowledge of core concepts of opto-mechanical systems and/or digital display systems.
Strong conceptual, planning, and problem-solving skills across multiple projects.
Strong computer skills and the utilization of MS Project, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint.
Experience with SAP and Cobra preferred but not mandatory.
