Job Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineering Co-op position will work with the Displays Team in the Cedar Rapids, IA facility. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Collect test failure information and prepare failure analysis reports as required for production.

  • Assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions.

  • Analysis of various manufacturing data; i.e. Work In Process (WIP), test output & failures, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  • Assist with optimizing test flow relative to cost constraints.

  • Assist in developing and preparing test and diagnostic programs to aid in the troubleshooting of test failures

  • Works with Electrical Engineers and Test Technicians to understand product and test system issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
