As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Temporary Manufacturing Engineer in our Refrigeration Products business located in Anaheim, CA.


  • Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.

  • Participates in defining manufacturing/engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work.

  • Performs professional Manufacturing Engineering assignments of an intermediate degree of complexity under general direction and supervision with some discretion as to work details.

  • Provides support in the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of manufacturing operations.

  • Provides input to plans, process specifications and procedures, production aids and assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, factory cost work standards development, and the like.

  • Compiles and evaluates test and production data, prepares technical analysis, recommends manufacturing methods and processes required to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes.

  • Provides production floor and assembly support in technical matters relating to assembly drawing interpretation, engineering change notices, rework, manufacturing difficulties and specifications.

  • Provides training to lower-level Manufacturing Engineers.

  • Performs other related duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four year college or university; and at least five years related experience in a manufacturing engineering capacity; or equivalent combination of education and training.

  • Previous experience with refrigeration in the aerospace industry, as well as machine shop, sheet metal and weld shop.

  • Experienced with metal fabrication.

  • MRP knowledge (JD Edwards preferred) required.

  • Knowledge with supply chain process as ME support.

  • Experience in designing manufacturing aides and tooling

  • CAD/Drafting experience (GD&T)

  • Working knowledge for mechanical and electrical assemblies.

  • Experience in technical writing (work instructions, processes, etc.)

  • Experience with working with suppliers to prove or improve processes.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Previous experience with aviation or medical equipment qualification processes desirable.

  • Lean manufacturing and Kaizen experience.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to directly interface with both internal department employees and external suppliers and customers.

  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with common PC software
