As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Sr. Engineering Technician in our Refrigeration Products business located in Anaheim, CA.



  • Provide support to the engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment.

  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.

  • Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.

  • Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

  • Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.

  • Assist in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.

  • Utilize manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, VOD, DVM, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

  • Provide guidance and training to lower-level personnel; may act in a lead role during supervisor’s absence.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Fully qualified craftsman with seasoned knowledge and experience in prototyping for research and development projects.

  • AA in electronics with 5yrs min related work experience or military career Rating/MOS from a technical 'A' school in electronics with an honorable discharge pay-grade of E5/E6 required. Technical 'C' school a plus.

  • Experience troubleshooting microcontroller based electrical/electronic circuits.

  • Thorough knowledge of controls and instrumentation

  • Able to read electrical/electronic schematics and plumbing diagrams.

  • Experience with testing, analyzing and reporting on new research and developments with microcontroller based electronic systems.

  • Experience setting-up, operate, and understand basic electrical test equipment such as DVMs, O-scopes, & WavGens, power meters, anemometers, accelerometers, vibrometers, sound equipment and associated data recorders a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Computer skills and familiarity with common PC software such as Microsoft Office.
