Rockwell Collins IMS is seeking a Software Engineer with a B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering to join their Ground Systems and Applications team located in the Annapolis, Maryland.
Rockwell Collins IMS provides communication products and services for commercial and business airline customers. The Ground Systems and Applications team develops solutions for a high availability 24x7 aviation data link service.
The candidate will perform full life-cycle software development including: eliciting customer requirements, designing, implementing, and testing software solutions. Our Linux based software is part of a mission critical aviation communications network where protocols and high availability are integral to the software development. The candidate will develop on multiple applications including: VHF and HF Ground Stations, ATN Routers, Command and Control GUIs, and Configuration Databases.
The ideal candidate will possess less than two (2) years of engineering experience.
The candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills for working in a team environment.
- Linux, Python, C/C++, Java, Network Protocols, Data Communications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
