Our Philippines facility, being the first B/E manufacturing site in Asia, is engaged in manufacturing and assembly of Lavatory, Galley and Galley Insert products for the commercial aircraft segment.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Team Lead - Operations in our Galley business located in FPIP, Tanauan Batangas, Philippines.


Job Responsibilities

The Team Lead - Operations has the following duties:

  • Reviews and prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, materials supply and personnel resources; assigns associates to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.

  • Informs assigned associates of production and/or material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve operational problems affecting schedules.

  • Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.

  • Develops schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas; maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and other manufacturing aspects.

  • Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly, and has multiple skill level for assembly activities

  • Handle more complex equipment and machinery

  • Train other assemblers in the standard work and explain requirements and key points.

  • Ability to perform quick failure analysis and propose actions to the supervisor.

  • Has leadership skills, a good communicator both verbal and written

  • Give suggestions to Supervisors on how to maximize production operation with focus on safety, quality and productivity.

  • Has the initiative in work and a good team worker

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.

  • With excellent communication skills.

  • 2-5 Years years related experience and/or training; Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  • Experience in modern manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
