Researches, designs, develops, tests, debugs, deploys, and maintains application software. Applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the construction, analysis, or management of software. Involved in planning of system and assists with system design. Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Performs all aspects of programming assignments. Responsible for compliance with software standards and conventions. Designs and builds changes, extensions and enhancements to existing application programs and reports. Supports data migration, data conversion, data loading, and performance improvement. Designs details of automated systems. Designs and develops integrations between applications using application programming interfaces. Prepares operating instructions and compiles documentation of program development. Prepares test plans and conducts functional and performance testing. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. Responsible for working with users to support business applications, and investigating operational problems/system requirements. Solves user inquiries that arise during day-to-day operation and documents system changes. Uses independent judgment to make decisions in day-to-day job responsibilities the majority of the time under general supervision.
Participate and assist in developing strategic roadmap from technical perspective where applicable.
May serve as project or technical lead for complex projects with varying degrees of flexibility for approach.
Assist in applying results of metrics research and technical knowledge to determine root causes of problems and develop appropriate solutions.
Design and develop simple to complex applications.
Has moderate degree of freedom to perform assigned tasks within schedule and cost.
Estimates project resource requirements for multi-developer projects.
Lead the assigned projects to achieve quality solutions under moderate to indirect supervision.
May assign and track tasks for other team members.
Develop/modify programs based on functional specifications, investigate and understand new technologies, conduct unit-tests, integration testing, code review and performance monitoring.
Coach and train junior members of the team.
Responsible for adherence to defined processes, project cost and schedule requirements.
Provide broad exploratory/discovery consulting services to internal customers.
Assists with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills.
May begin to interface with internal customers.

Knowledge of hardware APIs and WMI
Knowledge of Windows Mobile and UWP Development
Experience producing process flow documentation and test plans
