We are currently searching for a Marketing Intern (Part-Time Spring 2019) to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA (1000). A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates. The Service & Support organization is rapidly growing and in need of someone who can help us revamp outdated marketing materials as well as provide analysis in support of larger initiatives. This internship will give you an idea of how Collins Aerospace supports customers all over the world in both our commercial and government markets. Additionally, we are heavily focused on learning more about our competition in order to adapt and evolve our own support solutions to meet the needs of the market and our customers. This candidate needs to be highly motivated, a self-starter and ready to easily adapt to a fast paced environment.
Some of your daily tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following :
· Assist in the creation of marketing material
· Assist in development of press releases
· Develop sales/marketing presentations
· Contribute/Develop website/social media efforts
· Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials
· Analyze and develop competitor profiles
· Manage large data sets and provide analysis supporting key marketing initiatives
Undergraduate major in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, or applicable major
Superior writing abilities with attention to detail
Experience with web creation/editing
Communicates well to various levels of leadership
Creative, highly motivated, and driven
Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
