Job Summary

As a Sr Accountant, this position will lead the Cash Application team within General Accounting. The role requires a mix of analytical thinking and technical curiosity to gain an understanding of the SAP and JD Edwards cash application processes, as well as communication skills to guide the cash applicators in issues resolution and training.

Job Responsibilities

Primary job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Gains system understanding within SAP and JD Edwards related to the cash application processes

  • Provides guidance to cash application team on issue resolution

  • Serves as a focal point for Treasury and Credit and Collections teams

  • Supports Interior Systems SAP alignments

  • Leads initiatives for Cash Application team and potentially other areas of General Accounting

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal and team work

  • Project management

  • Strong organizational and time management

  • Communication both oral and written

Basic Qualifications

  • Accounting or Finance degree

  • General Understanding of accounting processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • SAP Experience
