Job Summary

The Sr. Configuration Coordinator Role provides data management support in the MRP and PDM business systems related to maintenance of engineering data and program data. This role is concerned with the data completeness and accuracy related to engineering change data. Requires the creation and/or updates to PDM Data Objects, Bills of Material, and Route Data necessary to process engineering changes through the business systems. This role is concerned with the data completeness, accuracy, and alignment with business rules for part number information regarding their release in PDM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs aspects related to preparation of engineering master data input and delivery into business systems with little or no supervision.

  • Reviews source documents for data input verifying accuracy and relevance of the input.

  • Ensures conformance of Data Requests to applicable policies and procedures.

  • Must have good customer relationships (interfaces with wide variety of individuals on an enterprise basis).

  • Develop strategies to more efficiently process data requests in accordance with the defined engineering and data change workflows.

  • Understands and interpret CO packages with respect to the data requirement requests entered from the Web Submittal Form.

  • Develops strategies to improve processing of work through use of various business systems and tools.

  • Develops strategies to transition of manual activities to more automated means.

  • Prioritizes own work when working in a moderately stable to relatively unstable environment.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and leads the implementation.

  • Enter, review and release data related to bills of material into the PDM system.

  • Perform updates to documentation using word processing or other electronic authoring tools.

  • Must have practical knowledge of entire engineering change process.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with Enovia PDM

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
