Job Summary

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your talents? Join our team of engineers designing state-of-the-art, industry-leading technology for business jet aircraft. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take on major responsibilities in the development and certification of a suite of tools that create navigation databases for our highly complex Flight Management System (FMS).

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and working with a small team of software engineers based in the United States that design, implement, test, and document our navigation database processing tool suite in accordance with DO-200A development processes.

  • Working with the database production team on support of monthly database deliveries.

  • Use Microsoft technologies to create tools that interface with a database management system

  • Interface with third party data suppliers

  • Perform activities such as software requirements capture, design, code, test, integration and documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.

  • Must have experience with full lifecycle software development process

  • Must have experience in Windows based development

  • Must be a self-starter, be able to handle unexpected events, and take advantage of opportunities and events to achieve results that meet or exceed expectations

  • Must be able to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization, and must have excellent problem solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills

Additional experience a plus:

  • Development in C#

  • Understanding of requirements for processing aeronautical data
