The Lavatories & Water/Waste Systems division of Rockwell Collins is the sole source lavatory provider for the Boeing 737 MAX program. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Senior Sales Manager in our Lavatories & Water/Waste Systems business located in Everett, WA.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Sales Manager defines and executes a growth strategy/customer capture plans for key customer accounts by fostering and nurturing relationships in support of both existing and new customer growth initiatives. Promotes internally, once finalized, the industry leading go-to market strategy for both OEM and Aftermarket customers. Invests time and commitment in developing counterparts in support of high-value customer opportunities globally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes capture strategies with target customers, responds to RFP/RFQ and generates new Sales opportunities to meet or exceed Sales targets

  • Sets targets, goals, expectations for growth per account

  • Has a strong network of client relationships and builds new relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate future sales campaigns

  • Conducts Sales campaigns, presents tailored product pitches and Unique Selling Points to customers at airlines, lessors and OEMs

  • Defines and communicates proposal and pricing strategy to the internal Proposal and Marketing Group and to Senior Management

  • Works with the Proposal and Marketing focals to establish bid strategies, tools and tailored deliverables to facilitate Sales campaigns

  • Monitors competitor activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated

  • Liaises with internal departments and external agencies to ensure full communication and success of capture strategies

  • Contributes to new product development activities, creativity of product presentation, and promotional activities

  • Constantly monitors performance of products to ensure it meets company objectives

  • Identifies new business opportunities for new products; proposes initial plans to exploit these opportunities

  • Performs other related duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, and/or work experience; and a minimum of five years of Sales experience.

  • Experience in the aerospace industry with airlines, aircraft original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or aircraft interiors suppliers.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to customers, public groups, and internal organizations (i.e. working level, senior management, boards of directors).

  • Demonstrated business acumen and strong financial calculations understanding.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, results-oriented, and the ability to motivate others.

  • Ability to travel up to 40%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • International sales experience

  • Has the ability to pay high attention to detail

  • Three years previous P&L responsibility
