Applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the construction, analysis, or management of software. Uses independent judgment to make decisions in day-to-day job responsibilities the majority of the time under general supervision.
We are looking for a passionate and talented Machine Learning engineer who can apply Deep Learning in Comuputer Vision and NLP to develop products and features for company products
The position will involve all aspects of use of Computer Vision and NLP in software, including data preparation, model selection and tuning, model training with focus on transfer learning, data augmentation, and performance analysis and improvement
You will be a key member of the team that would develop Comuputer Vision and NLP based applications for Rockwell Collins Avionics and Airport solutions
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about ML and have a strong focus on details and execution
Position : Senior Software Engineer - Machine Learning
Exp : 3-6 years;
Education : BE/B-Tech/ME/M-Tech
Proficiency in Python programming, debugging and code optimization
Experience with machine learning and deep learning tools, libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV, CNTK, NLTK.
Experience in developing at-least one Deep Learning application in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing or Speech Recognition
Experience in developing and training Deep Learning models on GPUs and / or Cloud infrastructure
Experience in hosting Deep Learning applications in Embedded Systems and portable devices / mobiles
Good understanding of state-of-the-art CNNs, RNNs and Reinforcement Learning algorithms
Good understanding of Machine Learning concepts like Regression, Cost/Loss Functions, Regularization, Bias/Variance tradeoff, Hyperparameter tuning
Good understanding of Artificial Neural Networks like Back Propagation, Optimization functions, Activation functions
Strong mathematical skills, specifically in Linear Algebra, Statistics and Probability Distributions
Experience using Visulaization tools (like Matplotlib), interactive coding tools (like iPython, Jupyter), online code repos like Github
Ability to run experiments scientifically and analyze results
Excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
Avionics SW development/verification experience and domain knowledge
Experience working on safety critical applications
Writes Blogs / Articles on Machine Learning and closely follows progress in the field of Computer Vision and NLP
