We are currently searching for a Engineering Document Coordinator/Sr Software Librarian- to join our team in Irvine, CA (1750). This position provides technical software release support to engineering for the rebuilding, archiving and releasing of software releases and related documentation in the Software Control Library.
Verify Software Release build instructions provided by Engineering are accurate and complete.
Verify that the development software is released.
Compares Engineering/Library executable and creates file listings.
Archives Source files, executable files, and tools into the Product Data Management System.
Creates Master media for distribution and archives
Verify hardware/software documentation is accurate and complete.
Coordinate the Release Process with cross-functional groups.
Process/Archive Documentation into Product Data Management System.
High School Diploma or equivalent
US Citizenship required
Possess general computer knowledge skills in the areas of operating systems and file handling.
Proficient in MS Office software applications
Have the ability to learn new computer-based development systems and communicate effectively, both orally and written.
Customer Service - communicate effectively, both orally and written with internal/external customers.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to manage time and resources within a given schedule and/or timeframe
Experience with Configuration Management Release Processes
Experience with Enovia
