We are currently searching for a Sr Manager, Field Service Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, CA (IMS RAD) (5150). Job Summary

The Field Service Manager will be responsible for managing a staff comprised of Field Service Technicians, Administrative Support, and Maintenance Contractors. The LAX Maintenance Center is responsible for installing and maintaining company owned and customer owned communications equipment in both ground communications and air-ground radio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage resources to operational goals.

  • Work with customers, both internal and external, to resolve problems.

  • Focus on building relationships with existing customers and increase current level of business, while seeking new opportunities in the Western region.

  • Manage staff to ensure critical network SLAs are met.

  • Support deployments of corporate initiatives.

  • Assist in budget preparation and manage unit within budget.

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have industry experience in radio and data communications in a supervisory capacity.

Additional requirements are as follows:

  • Bachelors degree or Technical equivalent required. FCC/GROL is a plus.

  • Ability to develop and promote high quality safety and communications for all customers.

  • Experience in supervision or project leadership, with a successful track record.

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Self-starter with good motivational skills.

  • Excellent time management skills including prioritizing, planning, organization and multi-tasking.

  • Extremely detail oriented with staff management, maintaining customer work/billing records, inventory, etc.
