The CNS Surveillance Group is seeking an entry level hardware engineer with at least a couple years of industry experience. The primary responsibility for this position will be to support the TCAS Products team with existing fielded products and with the development of new products for the Next Generation Air Transportation Systems. The duties include: analog and digital design, analysis and simulation, schematic entry and board level test and debug for radio frequency products.
Design analog and digital board level circuitry to meet requirements per established guidelines
Analyze and simulate design to ensure operation over component tolerance and operating extremes
Perform schematic entry for PCB layout
Write hardware design documents and board level test plans
Debug boards using standard tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and emulators
Analyze and interpret measured data
Flight testing of department products
Candidate must be self-motivated, possess effective oral/written communication and interpersonal/team skills, and be able to multiplex tasks and assignments effectively.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.
Must have at least 2 years of industry experience in analog/digital design (post graduation)
