Job Summary

Rockwell Collins is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Technician to help build the next generation of Aerospace Global Satcom Communication Systems. The role involves working on the latest C++ Real-time Operating Systems and developing apps to run on Linux. The team is cutting edge, working on a Scrum Agile development with a great work life balance based on an optional 9/80 schedule.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, analyze, design, C and C++ reusable modules and interfaces for verification

  • Build and design simulators to help continuously verify software releases

  • Advance your development skills working with Senior Software Engineers

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of an associate's degree three years of related experience

  • Working knowledge of programming languages (C, C++,RTOS,Linux,Python)

  • Knowledge of full lifecycle development including requirements, design, code, integration and verification

  • Working in a lab verification environment
