This position is responsible for accounting activities relating to maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements. The position also is responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
Knowledge of industry practices and standards. Always uses professional concepts, i.e. GAAP, Tax Legislation, IFRS, COSO framework, SASs
Performs analysis on complex accounting issues relating to compliance and data integrity. Works closely with external auditors to ensure proper interpretation of reports and data.
Makes significant contribution to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Respected as an expert in the field of accounting.
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Serves as consultant to management and, in some situations, special external spokesperson for the organization on matters relating to policies, plans, and objectives.
Responsible for complex projects associated with the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of accounting documents and special projects.
Maintains current knowledge of applicable rules and regulations per appropriate accounting discipline (tax, audit, financial reporting) and how they affect the company. May be involved with the implications of mergers and acquisitions.

Degree in accountant
5+ years or more of experience on required areas of: Payroll, IMSS, INFONAVIT, taxes,
Proficient in Microsoft (Excel advance), TRESS, SAP, Innova
Excellent communication skills
Work effectively in a team environment with all levels of organization and audits
