As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Welder on our first shift at J.A. Reinhardt Company located in Mountainhome, Pennsylvania.
Performs standard welding assignments to include fabrication, maintenance, joining, and cutting of ferrous and nonferrous metal parts and structures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working from blueprints, drawings and verbal instructions, performs standard layouts and set-ups where dimensions and tolerances are easily obtained and controlled.
Normally performs one-to-two welding processes such as hellarc, gas, arc, brazing, silver soldering, soft soldering and the like on a limited variety of materials such as stainless, aluminum, steel, copper, brass, exotics or others.
May perform related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling notching template making.
Utilizes standard shop hand tools, measuring devises and equipment.
Performs other related duties as required.
Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-to-two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work and life experience.
