Rockwell Collins is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide Nuclear Surety engineering Expertise for the NC3 community.
You will work with customers, engineering management, program management and engineering teams to create solutions addressing the customer needs.
This position is located in Richardson, Texas.
-Candidate will conduct technical nuclear surety analyses, nuclear certification assessments, and risk& vulnerability analyses. This includes safety evaluations of the design, operation of electrical, mechanical, nuclear command & control, software, and communications subsystems.
-Support IPTs in the development of their design to ensure compliance with nuclear surety standards. Ensure system architecture meets nuclear surety requirements.
- Support Nuclear Surety WGs and present technical results of the analysis to internal and external customers.
Possess skills and experience in Nuclear Surety.
Must be able to assist in the development of Nuclear Surety documentation, and have a technical background and engineering analytics skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize numerous assignments, organization and time management skills.
Ability to provide input and suggested analysis support in defining nuclear surety scope.
Experience with DoD and AF Nuclear Surety policy and processes
Candidates must have the following:
Must possess and maintain a U.S. DOD Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle, with knowledge of how to apply reliability and maintainability techniques
